Welcome To Our Sunday Morning Livestream

Oct 18, 2026 • David Artessa

Welcome to Monticello Baptist Church online! We’re grateful you’re worshiping with us today as we continue our sermon series, PRAYERS FROM A GRATEFUL HEART.

Last Sunday, we began our series by looking at Abraham's experience on Mount Moriah and thanking God for His faithful provision. This week, Pastor David Artessa will share a message titled “Thank You for Your Guidance” from Genesis 24:26–27.

In Genesis 24, Abraham sends his servant on an important journey to find a wife for Isaac. The servant doesn't know exactly how everything will work out, but as he seeks the Lord in prayer and faithfully follows the instructions he's been given, he begins to recognize God's hand guiding his steps. When he discovers how the Lord has led him, his response is to bow his head and worship.

Like Abraham's servant, we often find ourselves facing decisions, uncertainties, and situations where we wish God would show us exactly what comes next. But Scripture reminds us that God's guidance doesn't eliminate our need to trust Him. We can seek His wisdom, walk in prayerful dependence, and remember how faithfully He has led us in the past.

As we worship together, may we take time to look back and recognize the many ways God has guided our lives. Even when we don't know what tomorrow holds, we can trust the One who has faithfully brought us this far. Looking back at God's faithful guidance gives us confidence to trust Him with the future.
