Welcome To Our Sunday Morning Livestream

Oct 25, 2026

Welcome to Monticello Baptist Church online! We're grateful you're worshiping with us today as we celebrate a very special milestone in the life of our church—200 years of worship and ministry on the very ground where we gather today!

In the fall of 1826, a group of believers began worshiping on this property in Monticello, Georgia. Over the next two centuries, generations of faithful men and women would gather here to worship the Lord, proclaim the gospel, serve their community, and share the good news of Jesus Christ. Buildings have changed, generations have come and gone, but the God we worship remains the same!

This morning, we have the joy of welcoming Rev. Thomas Hammond, Executive Director of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, as our special guest preacher. We're grateful for his leadership among Georgia Baptists and look forward to hearing the message God has placed on his heart.

We'll also celebrate as one of our students follows the Lord in believer's baptism. What a wonderful reminder that the same gospel proclaimed by generations before us continues to change lives today! As we reflect on 200 years of ministry, we rejoice that God is still at work among His people.

As we worship together, our hearts are filled with gratitude for God's faithfulness throughout the generations. We give thanks for those who came before us, celebrate what God is doing among us today, and look forward with confidence to what He will accomplish in the years ahead.

To God be the glory for 200 years of worship and ministry—and may we remain faithful to proclaim His goodness to the generations yet to come!
