Welcome to Monticello Baptist Church online! We’re glad you’re joining us for worship during this Advent season—a time of longing, hope, and preparation for the coming of Christ.

This morning, Pastor David Artessa continues our series The Waiting People with a message titled “Presence in the Waiting.” From Exodus 33, we’ll see that what we need most in seasons of waiting is not clarity or control, but the presence of God Himself. Just as Moses longed for God’s presence in the wilderness, we too are reminded that the greatest gift God gives us isn’t His blessings or His plans—it’s Himself.

As we wait and worship this Advent season, may our hearts be drawn closer to Emmanuel, “God with us,” whose presence brings peace and rest to our souls.
