Welcome to Monticello Baptist Church online! We’re grateful you’re worshiping with us as we gather on this Independence Day weekend.

As we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy as Americans, we also pause to thank God for His faithfulness to our nation and to remember the countless men and women whose courage and sacrifice have helped preserve those freedoms. We are grateful for their service, and we pray that God will continue to guide our country in the days ahead.

This Sunday, Pastor David Artessa will be preaching a special message from Ephesians 6:10–18 titled “Who Are We Fighting?” While wars between nations remind us that conflict is a reality in our world, Scripture teaches that the greatest battles we face are not ultimately against people, but against the spiritual forces that seek to draw us away from Christ. As believers, we are called to stand firm in the strength of the Lord, clothed with the whole armor of God and anchored in the victory that Jesus has already won through His death and resurrection.

As we worship together through song, prayer, and the preaching of God's Word, our prayer is that this service will encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Christ, to recognize the true nature of the spiritual battle around us, and to stand with confidence in the One who has already secured the victory.
