RENEW IN ME: Renew Us
Welcome to Monticello Baptist Church online! We’re grateful you’re worshiping with us today as we conclude our sermon series, RENEW IN ME.
Over the past several weeks, we have walked through David’s deeply personal prayer of repentance and renewal in Psalm 51. This Sunday, Pastor David Artessa will bring the series to a close with a message titled “Renew Us” from Psalm 51:18–19. In these final verses, David’s prayer shifts from what God is doing in him to what he longs for God to do among His people.
Renewal must begin in each of us, but it was never meant to stop there. As God changes our hearts, our prayer should grow from “Lord, renew me” to “Lord, renew us.” As we approach 200 years of ministry at Monticello Baptist Church, we are grateful for all God has done—but we are still asking Him to work among His people today. Lord, renew us—and let it begin in me.
