Faith That Waits
Welcome to Monticello Baptist Church online! Today marks the beginning of the Advent season, a time of anticipation and preparation as we celebrate the coming of Christ. Pastor David Artessa begins a new series titled The Waiting People, exploring how faith is formed and strengthened in seasons of waiting.
This morning’s message, “Faith That Waits” from Genesis 22:1–18, looks at the story of Abraham and Isaac. Through Abraham’s obedience and trust, we’re reminded that waiting on God deepens our faith and reveals His perfect provision. Even when the path ahead doesn’t make sense, we can trust the God who always keeps His promises.
Join us in worship as we begin this season of Advent with hearts that wait in hope for the God who came near through Jesus Christ.
