Welcome to Monticello Baptist Church online! Today’s worship service is a special moment in the life of our church family as we celebrate the ordination of Britton Bailey to the office of deacon and observe the Ordinance of the Lord’s Supper.

Pastor David Artessa will share a message titled “The Ministry of a Deacon” from Acts 6:1–7, highlighting how God uses servant-hearted leaders to strengthen the church and advance the gospel.

A deacon is more than just a church officer; he is a spiritual servant. In Scripture, deacons are called to promote unity, meet practical needs within the body, and support the ministry of the Word through faithful service. Today, we affirm Britton’s calling, pray over his family, and commission him to this vital role in our church.
