WEEK 1

Day 1 – Jesus, the Word Made Flesh
Read John 1:1-18

Explanation:
John introduces Jesus as the eternal Word of God, who was present at creation and is the source of life and light for all people. Though the world did not recognize Him, He came to offer salvation to those who believe. This passage highlights Jesus’ divine nature and His mission to bring grace and truth.

Application:
Reflect on the truth that Jesus, the eternal Word, became flesh for us. How does this impact your daily walk with Him? Seek to live in His grace and share His light with others today.

Prayer:
"Lord Jesus, thank You for coming into the world to bring light and life. Help me to recognize Your presence in my daily life and to share Your love with those around me. Teach me to walk in Your grace and truth every day. Amen."
Day 2 – John the Baptist’s Witness
Read John 1:19-34

Explanation:
John the Baptist humbly declares that he is not the Christ but was sent to prepare the way for Him. He points to Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. John recognizes Jesus' greater authority and mission, calling others to look to Him.

Application:
Are you pointing others to Jesus in your daily life? Like John, we are called to direct people to Christ, not ourselves. Consider how you can be a faithful witness today.

Prayer:
"Lord, help me to point others to You through my words and actions. Let my life reflect Your grace and truth so that others may come to know You as their Savior. Amen."
Day 3 – The First Disciples Follow Jesus
Read John 1:35-51

Explanation:
John the Baptist’s testimony leads others to follow Jesus. Andrew and Simon Peter respond to Jesus' invitation, and Nathanael comes to faith after encountering Him personally. This passage shows how Jesus calls us into a personal relationship with Him.

Application:
Have you responded to Jesus’ invitation to follow Him wholeheartedly? Commit to seeking Him daily and inviting others to experience His love.

Prayer:
"Jesus, thank You for calling me to follow You. Help me to walk closely with You and share Your invitation with others. Strengthen my faith and lead me in Your ways. Amen."
Day 4 – The Wedding at Cana
Read John 2:1-12

Explanation:
Jesus performs His first miracle by turning water into wine, showing His power and revealing His glory to His disciples. This act demonstrates that Jesus cares about our everyday needs and that He brings transformation when we trust Him.

Application:
Trust that Jesus can bring transformation in your life, even in the ordinary moments. Offer your daily concerns to Him and watch how He works.

Prayer:
"Lord, thank You for showing Your power in both big and small ways. I trust You to work in my life and transform my circumstances for Your glory. Amen."
Day 5 – Jesus Clears the Temple
Read John 2:13-25

Explanation:
Jesus drives out those who were misusing the temple, showing His passion for true worship. He reminds us that worship should be centered on God, not personal gain. His actions challenge us to examine our hearts and motives.

Application:
Is your heart a place of true worship? Take time to remove distractions and focus on honoring God in all you do.

Prayer:
"Lord, help me to worship You with a pure heart. Remove anything in my life that takes my focus off You, and teach me to honor You fully. Amen."
Day 6 – Jesus and Nicodemus
Read John 3:1-21

Explanation:
Jesus explains to Nicodemus the need to be born again through the Spirit. He emphasizes that eternal life comes through belief in Him, revealing God's love for the world in sending His Son.

Application:
Reflect on your relationship with Jesus. Have you fully trusted in Him for salvation? If so, share His love with others who need to hear.

Prayer:
"Jesus, thank You for offering new life through Your Spirit. Help me to trust You fully and share the good news of salvation with others. Amen."
Day 7 – John the Baptist’s Testimony
Read John 3:22-36

Explanation:
John the Baptist humbly acknowledges that his purpose is to point people to Jesus. He understands that Jesus must increase while he decreases, teaching us about humility and submission to God's plan.

Application:
Are you willing to put Jesus first in your life? Surrender your plans and desires to Him, allowing His purpose to shine through you.

Prayer:
"Lord, help me to decrease so that You may increase in my life. Teach me to serve You with humility and to seek Your will above all else. Amen."
